Important Drop-Ins Information
Are you a continuing biology student?
Please sign in at /buffportaladvising/ to view our drop-in schedule for your quick questions. If you have multiple or complicated questions, please make an appointment in Buff Portal Advising.
Are you an incoming first-year or transfer student?
Please make an appointment with your advisor in uff Portal Advising. Your first advising meeting will be 30-45 minutes in order to get to know you, address your questions, and prepare you to begin your journey at CU in your major.
Drop-in Schedule for Current Biology Students: Monday-Friday 1-2:45 PM
Beginning October 15th, 2024, Biology advising will offer both remote and in-person drop-in options.
Drop-ins are for quick, 5-10 minute questions. For long-term/degree planning, an appointment is required.
Remote drop-ins via Zoom are M-F, 1-2:45pm. Please sign into this during that window to get in the virtual 鈥渓ine,鈥 and when an advisor is ready to see you, they will send an email with their Zoom room link.
In-person drop-ins are M-F, 1-2:45pm. To meet in-person, please proceed to Porter B118 and sign in on the tablet near the door.
NOTE: It is your responsibility to check for the current drop-ins schedule due to occasional schedule changes.
ALL drop-ins, regardless of modality, are first-come, first served, and will be capped at ten minutes to make time for as many students as possible. Thanks for your patience!听
