Previously she worked as an international adviser to Mount Sinai Medical Center, Partner鈥檚 International Healthcare, New York Presbyterian Hospital, the Association for Health Research & Development in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Medical Tourism Training Inc. in Boston. Pamela lives in Jamaica Plain, Mass.

In September聽Steven Wiesner聽(MCivEngr鈥88) was promoted to assistant aviation director at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Steven is responsible for the planning and future expansions of the airport, as well as the North Perry Airport. He manages 45 engineers, project managers and planners in the airport development division. He writes, 鈥淲hen Buffs fly into Florida鈥檚 best airport and use the new runway, they use a project directed by a CU civil engineer.鈥

Last summer聽Rob Bates聽(InfSys鈥88) trained to fly the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. After serving 22 years in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves, Rob flies full time as a first officer with United Airlines. United initially will use the new fuel-efficient 787 on routes to Asia and Africa. Rob and his wife have been married for 18 years, have two children and live in San Diego, Calif.

Eric also is working to hire Leeds School of Business students. Professor and director of the Centre for Mountain Studies at Perth College, University of the Highlands and Islands in Scotland,聽Martin Price聽(PhDGeog鈥88) received a gold medal from the King Albert I Memorial聽Foundation last fall. The award recognizes Martin鈥檚 exceptional knowledge and his editorial competence, both of which have played a vital role in the preservation and study of mountains.

In September聽Terry Fulp聽(MCivEngr鈥88) was named regional director for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation鈥檚 lower Colorado region. Since 1989 he has been actively involved in the bureau鈥檚 Colorado River operations and management issues. As regional director he will oversee all operations in southern Nevada, Southern California, most of Arizona and portions of Utah and New Mexico. Terry lives in Boulder City, Nev.

While the program is based in Santa Barbara, Calif., it is distributed across the country. More than 14 years ago, he supplemented his first doctorate in cognitive psychology with a second in clinical psychology and has taught and conducted research at institutions in San Diego. David continues to teach at the University of California San Diego during summers.

The Active Risk Group in Maidenhead, UK, promoted聽Bob Runnells聽(Aero鈥88) to director of global services to manage a staff of software consultants and trainers. Bob spent his early professional career in the Los Angeles aerospace engineering market, designing advanced composite structures for a diverse set of launch vehicle, satellite and aircraft projects. He lives in Vancouver, Wash., with his wife and daughter. He writes he is proud his company launched on June 26.

In July 2010聽Susanne Skyrm鈥檚 (DMus鈥88)聽Anthology of Eighteenth-Century Spanish Keyboard Music聽(Wayne Leupold) was published. The volume is a significant resource for Spanish keyboard works as many of the pieces in the volume have not previously been published in the United States. Susanne has been on the keyboard faculty at the University of South Dakota since 1988. She maintains an active recital schedule and lives in Vermillion, S.D.

Scott Moore (Econ鈥89) is a feature film writer and director best known for contributing to films The Hangover and Bad Moms. Moore co-wrote The Hangover, which won the 2010 Golden Globe for Best Comedy and earned more than $275 million domestically, making it the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all time. The script earned Moore a nomination for Best Original Screenplay from the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). Additionally, another of Moore鈥檚 co-written films, Bad Moms, earned more than $180 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of the year. The film also won the People鈥檚 Choice Award for Best Comedy of 2016. In addition to these films, Moore is credited on films starring celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Reynolds.聽

Shortly after graduating from CU, Doug Leibinger (Advert鈥89) moved to Aspen, Colorado. For the past 26 years, he has been involved in real estate, and eight years ago, became a founding partner of Compass Real Estate in Aspen, where he works in Aspen, Snowmass and the Roaring Fork Valley. This past year, the Wall Street Journal and Tom Ferry Real Trends recognized Doug as the No. 72 broker in the nation out of about 1.6 million realtors. Each year, he gets together with his Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity brothers, as well as his fellow CU Buffoons alumni.

Fox Rothschild nationwide construction practice named Patrick Casey (PolSci鈥89) co-chair. Patrick is a trial attorney, the managing partner at the firm鈥檚 Denver office and is a member of the firm鈥檚 executive committee. He deals with cases involving construction, insurance, real estate and litigation. Patrick was recognized by Chambers USA for construction in 2021 and was named to the Colorado Super Lawyers list by Construction Litigation from 2019 to 2022.
