罢丑别听First Annual ComSciCon Rocky Mountain West听Workshop is happening on CU's campus this Fall.听This interdisciplinary workshop is designed to help graduate students in the sciences develop their writing and communication skills. There will also be a session on science policy and advocacy!

At this听workshop, participants will network with and learn from professional science communicators鈥攊ncluding but not limited to science journalists, writers, researchers, industry professionals, policy makers鈥攁nd work closely with these experts on learning how to construe and deliver the perfect elevator pitch, deliver a winning听interview, write听an original听piece for a popular science outlet and more! This workshop听will also feature a keynote speaker, workshops, and expert panels on the following topics: science writing & multimedia, science communication in听industry, science policy and advocacy settings,听diversity and inclusion as well as community engagement.听Participants will walk away with insight on how to utilize communication听skills throughout their careers, regardless of career path.
