One of two CU students on The Washington Post鈥檚 鈥渃omposers and performers to watch鈥� list, Kedrick Armstrong will conduct the CU Symphony Orchestra鈥檚 performance of 鈥淪infonietta鈥� on campus鈥攖his before the world premiere of 鈥淭he Factotum鈥� with the Lyric Opera of Chicago in February.

鈥淥deon,鈥� Ephrat Asherie Dance鈥檚 original work bound for Macky Auditorium Nov. 18, combines storied Afro-Brazilian rhythms and sounds with contemporary hip-hop, house, vogue and other choreography styles that are part of the current lexicon of street and club dancers in New York.
