In 2016, CU Boulder welcomed Julien Denaes as one of its Global Entrepreneurs in Residence (GEiR), a program that embeds international, experienced entrepreneurs in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the campus and the city.
In his year as a GEiR, Denaes, a native of Switzerland, mentored dozens of CU Boulder students across a range of disciplines, developed innovative programming for the burgeoning Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative and launched his own company, Alpin.
GEiRs rotate through the program annually鈥擠enaes has already finished his year鈥� but their impact on Boulder鈥檚 students and community will be long lasting.
